In 2025, the JTR Marathon distance will be discontinued to enhance the overall event. This change allows us to offer more spots in the Ultra, Half Marathon, and Skyrace distances, and creating an even better experience for all participants.

The Routes in 2025

  • JTR SKYRACE

    Distance: Ca. 13 km | Elevation: Ca. 550 m

    - Summit view & varied terrain

    - Ca. 10 km on mountain trails and 3 km on gravel

    - Start and finish at Bygdin

    - News in 2025: Drink station after ca. 10 km

  • JTR HALF MARATHON

    Distance: Ca. 21 km | Elevation: Ca. 550 m

    - Beautiful scenery & varied terrain

    - Ca. 19 km on mountain trails and 3 km on gravel

    - Drink & food station after ca. 12 km

    - Start and finish at Bygdin

    - News in 2025: Two starting groups

  • JTR ULTRA

    Distance: Ca. 70 km | Elevation: Ca. 2800 m

    - Beautiful scenery and varied terrain

    - A tough and long challenge in the high mountains

    - Cut-off: 8-hour cut-off time for entry and 8.5-hour cut-off time for exit at checkpoint at Fondsbu

    - Ca. 64 km on mountain trails, 4 km on gravel, and 2 km on asphalt

    - Food & drink station at checkpoint at Fondsbu (after ca. 38 km) and at Torfinnsbu (after ca. 59 km)

    - Start and finish at Bygdin
