For Half Marathon or Skyrace participants who have booked a bus ticket when registering, buses will depart from Beitostølen to the start at Bygdin on Saturday morning.
For those who have not booked a bus ticket to Bygdin, the alternative option is to find a parking spot at one of the parking areas at Bygdin.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee you a parking space here, as there are limited parking spots available at Bygdin. Therefore, we strongly encourage carpooling and the use of public transportation to and from the start.

We have not set any specific requirements for the rating of wind and waterproofing for jackets/pants. The most important thing is to have good products that provide good protection in the high mountains for changing weather and conditions, as well as wind and water. The longer the distance, the more important it is to have a high degree of wind and waterproofing on jackets/pants. As a participant, you are responsible for making sensible choices here.

All Ultra participants must do this on Friday, as drop bags also need to be delivered then. Ultra participants must submit their own drop bag here.
Other participants can have friends pick up their bib number and any ordered JTR gear on Friday or collect them themselves on Saturday morning from 08:00 at Bygdin Høyfjellshotell.

JTR-Items ordered during registration will be distributed at check-in and bib number pickup at Beitostølen on Friday. Alternatively, you can pick them up on Saturday morning at Bygdin Høyfjellshotell if you are unable to do so on Friday.
NB. You are responsible for picking up the products you ordered. Products that are not picked up will not be shipped after the event.
-
If the organizer has JTR-products available for sale after registration, information about this will be sent out via email
There will also probably be some extra JTR-products available for sale at check-in/bib pickup on Friday at Beitostølen. In that case, you should arrive early.

Yes, we allow resale of starting spots. This must be completed well in advance of the event.
Important Rules:
It is NOT permitted to sell above the original purchase price.
The seller MUST provide a valid receipt to the buyer.
Any additional products (bus tickets, t-shirts, headbands) are transferred to the buyer and must be collected at registration and bib distribution (not mailed afterward).
This option will open up after registration has closed. At that time, we will post on our Facebook page with a description of the process.
All communication regarding the resale and purchase of entries will take place in our Facebook group, Jotunheimen Trail Run Community.
This service involves an administration fee (kr 150) for the buyer. See Eqtiming's description of the process here.
Please be aware that this solution might unfortunately be used for scams. Always ask the seller for a receipt if you want to take over a bib number. This receipt should have been received via email from Eqtiming. We recommend not purchasing the spot if you don't receive a valid receipt. The payment happens directly between the seller and the buyer, not through Eqtiming.
Remember that in Norway, it's illegal to sell tickets for a higher price than the original for cultural and sporting events. This is to prevent speculation and black market sales.

This is possible, but it must be done before the distance(s) are fully booked. JTR 2024 was quickly fully booked in 2023.
-
All Ultra participants who want a drop bag at the Check Point (at Fondsbu) must deliver their own drop bag, fully packed, before race start (latest 05.45) at Bygdin.
You will use your own drop bag, and we recommend that it is waterproof/water-repellent and made of reusable material. It’s important that the bag is not too large (maximum size is 30 liters) and that you have it ready when you arrive for start at Bygdin, where it will be handed in.
